Once again, on January 11th, 2009 I get the privilage of sharing a message with the church. I’ll be sharing on the importance of Worship in our Christian walk. Between now and then, I’d love if you’d comment below on what you think Christian Worship is!

I believe It’s when our body, soul and spirit is in one accord standing in His presence, with only one thing in mind: THE AWESOME GOD OF CREATION. His splendor, His beauty, His love for mankind, His grace, His mercy, His patience, His goodness. We stand in awe wondering how He could continue to love such a one, continually forgiving and loving. Worthy, worthy, worthy of our time to tell him how much we love him for all He has done for us..
That is my idea of corporate worship. Otherwise, our very daily walk should be a worship to Him. We should be displaying the nature of Jesus to all.
Jan’s words reminded of an old song:
LORD MAKE ME AN INSTRUMENT AN INSTRUMENT OF WORSHIP
I LIFT UP MY HANDS IN YOUR NAME
2. I SING TO YOU A LOVE SONG
A LOVE SONG OF WORSHIP
I LIFT UP MY HANDS IN YOUR NAME
3, ALL GLORY AND HONOUR
TO JESUS FOREVER
I LIFT UP MY HANDS IN YOUR NAME
4. LORD, MAKE US A SYMPHONY
A SYMPHONY OF WORSHIP
WE LIFT UP OUR HANDS IN YOUR
NAME
Maybe we can sing that – the thought of corporate worship being a symphony is very appropriate and captures the concept, I believe.
